Enjoy a beautiful morning on the farm and meet our newest sheep to join the flock, Rita and Lambow! Hear the outrageous story, <em>Sheep in a Jeep\u00a0<\/em> by author Nancy Shaw. Then head over to the barn and make your very own sheep craft to take home. No visit to the farm is complete without riding the wagon and feeding our free-range chickens! Pack a lunch or snack and enjoy a picnic on the farm.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Little Farmer Fridays<\/strong><strong style=\"font-size: var(--tec-font-size-4); background-color: var(--tec-color-background-events);\">\u00a0<\/strong>is an interactive program designed for preschoolers and their grown-ups.\u00a0 Most appropriate for children ages 2 to 5 years old, our programs offer families the opportunity to hear a story, make a craft, meet our livestock, enjoy a wagon ride, and have fun on our 4-acre farm.<\/p>\n<p><strong style=\"font-size: var(--tec-font-size-4); background-color: var(--tec-color-background-events);\">Gates open at 10am. Activities available 10am-12pm. Farm grounds close at 2pm.<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>Child (2-11 years) $15<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Toddler (13-23 months) $7<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Infants (under 12 months) are free\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Adult (12 years and up) $5\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><strong>Museum Members\u00a0<\/strong>get one adult ticket FREE with purchase of a child\u2019s ticket. An email will be sent to all Members the day tickets are available.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>All tickets are non-refundable but may be transferred one time to another Little Farmer Fridays event by May 10, 2025. Email education@heritagefarmstead.org with your request. Unused tickets will be considered a donation to the farm.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Little Farmer Fridays often sell out. If the event is sold out, no tickets will be available the day of the event or at the door.<\/p>\n<p><strong style=\"background-color: var(--tec-color-background-events); color: var( --e-global-color-primary ); font-family: var( --e-global-typography-primary-font-family ), Sans-serif; font-size: 1rem;\">Parking<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Visitors may park along Pitman Drive or in the lot on the southside of BT Furnishings. Do not park at Chase Bank or in front of private residences. \u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>Weather and Cancellations<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Events are held, rain or shine. Activities take place outside on our 4-acre farmstead.\u00a0 Be prepared for possible muddy conditions if it has recently rained.
