It\u2019s time to <\/span>Swing into Spring<\/strong>! Join us as we sprout some fun here on the farmstead. Create your own flower craft to take home, listen to story time in the schoolhouse, and enjoy a hayride around the farm. Help us with some spring cleaning and wash a piece of laundry like people did long ago with a washboard and clothesline. Don\u2019t forget to take a visit down animal alley to meet all our farm animals. Last bud not least, plant your own seed to take home and watch grow!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Little Farmer Friday\u00a0<\/strong>is an interactive program designed for preschoolers and their grown-ups.\u00a0 Most appropriate for children ages 2 to 5 years old, our programs offer families the opportunity to read a story, make a craft, meet our livestock, enjoy a wagon ride, and have fun on our 4-acre farm.<\/span><\/p>

On each program date, our gates open at 10am<\/strong>\u00a0for registered guests.\u00a0 Tickets must be purchased in advance <\/u>so that we can safely manage our attendance for this program.<\/span><\/p>

Stations are open during our two-hour, come-and-go style program and close at noon.\u00a0 After the program is over, guests are welcome to enjoy time on their own until we close at 2pm.\u00a0 Bring a picnic lunch or snack if you like.<\/p>

TICKETS<\/strong><\/h4>
  • $15 per child<\/li>
  • $5 per adult<\/li>
  • Museum Members\u00a0<\/strong>get one adult ticket FREE with purchase of a child\u2019s ticket<\/li>
  • Siblings who are under 2 years old and not participating are free<\/li><\/ul>

    REGISTRATION GUIDELINES<\/h4>
    • Participants must register in advance<\/u> to attend the event. Full payment is due at registration.\u00a0<\/li>
    • All registrations are non- refundable; however, you may request your tickets be transferred to another Little Farmer Friday event.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>
    • You should receive an email confirmation of your registration. If you do not, please contact education@heritagefarmstead.org<\/li><\/ul>

      PARKING<\/h4>

      Visitors may park in the attached parking lot or along Pitman Drive. Parking in the Chase Bank parking lot is not allowed<\/b> during bank hours and violators may be towed. If parking is completely full, proceed to the southside of BT Furnishings.\u00a0<\/p>

      WEATHER AND CANCELLATION<\/strong><\/h4>

      If a program is cancelled due to weather, the decision will be made by 8am on the day of the program.<\/strong>\u00a0A note will be added to the event page and an email will be sent the address connected with your tickets.\u00a0<\/p>

      Every effort will be made to reschedule the program, and you will be given the option of attending the reschedule date or exchanging your tickets for a future Little Farmer Fridays event within one year of the original program date.<\/p>

      Activities take place outside on our 4-acre farmstead.\u00a0 Be prepared for possible muddy conditions if we\u2019ve had recent rain, and in that case, consider wearing boots or old tennis shoes.\u00a0 Please be aware of the weather the day of the event to make sure you and your little one(s) are dressed comfortably for the outdoors.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
