Today\u2019s the day the teddy bears have their picnic!<\/strong> Bring your favorite bear or stuffed animal for a day on the farm. Listen to story time in the schoolhouse, have a pretend tea party, and enjoy a ukulele sing-along with your bear. Children will make a teddy bear craft, help feed our chickens, and go on a hayride. Be sure to pack a picnic lunch or snack to share with your teddy bear!<\/p>\n

Little Farmer Friday\u00a0<\/strong>is an interactive program designed for preschoolers and their grown-ups.\u00a0 Most appropriate for children ages 2 to 5 years old, our programs offer families the opportunity to read a story, make a craft, meet our livestock, enjoy a wagon ride, and have fun on our 4-acre farm.<\/p>\n

On each program date, our gates open at 10am<\/strong>\u00a0for registered guests.\u00a0 Tickets must be purchased in advance <\/u>so that we can safely manage our attendance for this program.<\/p>\n

Stations are open during our two-hour, come-and-go style program and close at noon.\u00a0 After the program is over, guests are welcome to enjoy time on their own until we close at 2pm.\u00a0 Bring a picnic lunch or snack if you like.<\/p>\n

TICKETS<\/strong><\/h4>\n

  • $15 per child<\/li>\n
  • $5 per adult<\/li>\n
  • Museum Members\u00a0<\/strong>get one adult ticket FREE with purchase of a child\u2019s ticket<\/li>\n
  • Siblings who are under 2 years old and not participating are free<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    REGISTRATION GUIDELINES<\/h4>\n
      \n
    • Participants must register in advance<\/u> to attend the event. Full payment is due at registration.\u00a0<\/li>\n
    • All registrations are non- refundable; however, you may request your tickets be transferred to another Little Farmer Friday event.\u00a0<\/li>\n
    • You should receive an email confirmation of your registration. If you do not, please contact education@heritagefarmstead.org<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      PARKING<\/h4>\n

      Visitors may park in the attached parking lot or along Pitman Drive. Parking in the Chase Bank parking lot is not allowed<\/b> during bank hours and violators may be towed. If parking is completely full, proceed to the southside of BT Furnishings.\u00a0<\/p>\n

      WEATHER AND CANCELLATION<\/strong><\/h4>\n

      If a program is cancelled due to weather, the decision will be made by 8am on the day of the program.\u00a0<\/strong> A note will be added to the event page and an email will be sent to the address connetected with your tickets.\u00a0<\/p>\n

      Every effort will be made to reschedule the program, and you will be given the option of attending the reschedule date or exchanging your tickets for a future Little Farmer Fridays event within one year of the original program date.<\/p>\n
