There’s a new pig on the farm! Meet our newest addition, Elsie! Join us for a morning full of fun and help welcome our new baby pig to the farmstead. Storytime in the Schoolhouse will feature the Three Little Pigs<\/strong> to celebrate our own three pigs! Enjoy a wagon ride, feed our free-range chickens, do laundry the old-fashioned way, and create your own pig nose craft in our historic Pole Barn. Don’t forget to pack a lunch or snack and enjoy a pig<\/i>nic on the farm!<\/p>\n

Little Farmer Friday\u00a0<\/strong>is an interactive program designed for preschoolers and their grown-ups.\u00a0 Most appropriate for children ages 2 to 5 years old, our programs offer families the opportunity to read a story, make a craft, meet our livestock, enjoy a wagon ride, and have fun on our 4-acre farm.<\/p>\n

On each program date, our gates open at 10am<\/strong>\u00a0for registered guests.\u00a0 Tickets must be purchased in advance <\/u>so that we can safely manage our attendance for this program.<\/p>\n

Stations are open during our two-hour, come-and-go style program and close at noon.\u00a0 After the program is over, guests are welcome to enjoy time on their own until we close at 2pm.\u00a0 Bring a picnic lunch or snack if you like.<\/p>\n

  • $15 per child<\/li>\n
  • $5 per adult<\/li>\n
  • Museum Members\u00a0<\/strong>get one adult ticket FREE with purchase of a child\u2019s ticket<\/li>\n
  • Siblings who are under 2 years old and not participating are free<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    REGISTRATION GUIDELINES<\/h4>\n
      \n
    • Participants must register in advance<\/u> to attend the event. Full payment is due at registration.<\/li>\n
    • All registrations are non- refundable; however, you may request your tickets be transferred to another Little Farmer Friday event.<\/li>\n
    • You should receive an email confirmation of your registration. If you do not, please contact education@heritagefarmstead.org<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      PARKING<\/h4>\n

      Visitors may park in the attached parking lot or along Pitman Drive. Parking in the Chase Bank parking lot is not allowed<\/b> during bank hours and violators may be towed. If parking is completely full, proceed to the southside of BT Furnishings.<\/p>\n

      WEATHER AND CANCELLATION<\/strong><\/h4>\n

      Events are held, rain or shine. Activities take place outside on our 4-acre farmstead.\u00a0 Be prepared for possible muddy conditions if it has recently rained. Please be aware of the weather the day of the event to make sure you and your little one(s) are dressed comfortably for the outdoors.<\/p>\n

      If a program is cancelled due to severe weather, the decision will be made by 8am on the day of the program.\u00a0<\/strong> A note will be added to the event page and an email will be sent to the address connected with your tickets.<\/p>\n
